1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Healzen (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. You must be 18 years or older to create an account. Parents or guardians may create child profiles for dependants under 18 within their account, subject to Section 7 (Minors).
2. Description of Service
Healzen is a personal health management platform that provides: • AI-powered health tracking and recommendations • Medical record storage and management • Medication reminders and adherence tracking • Appointment management and telehealth connectivity • Health news, education, and community features • Family health management for you and your dependants Healzen is NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, hospital, or healthcare provider. All AI-generated content is informational only and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
3. Account Registration & Security
You agree to: • Provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account • Maintain the security of your password and access credentials • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account We reserve the right to suspend accounts where we reasonably suspect security compromise, fraud, or Terms violation.
4. Health Data & Medical Disclaimer

The Service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. AI responses, health scores, medication information, and symptom analysis are NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read or receive from Healzen. In a medical emergency, call emergency services (999, 112, 911, or your local equivalent) immediately.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to: • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose • Upload false, misleading, or malicious health data • Attempt to access other users' data • Reverse engineer, scrape, or harvest data from the Service • Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates third-party rights • Use the Service to impersonate a healthcare professional • Interfere with the Service's operation or security Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
6. Health Data Sharing
When you share health data with third parties (doctors, family members, insurers) using the Service's sharing features, you do so voluntarily and at your own direction. Healzen provides the technical mechanism for sharing but is not responsible for how shared recipients use your data. Time-limited share links expire automatically. You can revoke access to any share link at any time from Settings → Privacy → Shared Links.
7. Minors
Children under 18 may be added as sub-profiles within a parent or guardian's account. The parent/guardian is responsible for: • Ensuring all data entered for the child is accurate • Managing the child's privacy settings appropriately • Consenting on behalf of the child to these Terms and the Privacy Policy When a child profile holder turns 18, they will be prompted to create their own independent account with fresh consent.
8. Intellectual Property
The Healzen platform, software, design, content, and AI models are owned by Healzen and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your health data belongs to you. We claim no ownership over personal health data you upload or log. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Subscriptions & Payments
Healzen offers a free tier and premium subscription plans. Premium features are clearly marked. By subscribing to a premium plan, you agree to: • Provide valid payment information • Pay all fees as described at the time of subscription • Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time from Settings → Subscription. Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
10. Third-Party Services
Healzen may integrate with or link to third-party services (wearable devices, health lab APIs, pharmacy services, telehealth providers). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Healzen shall not be liable for: • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages • Loss of data, health outcomes, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service • Any decisions made based on AI-generated health recommendations • Service interruptions, security breaches outside our control, or third-party failures Our total liability to you for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Healzen, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy (within 30 days). Data retention obligations under law may require us to retain certain records beyond this period.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance via in-app notification and email. If you continue using the Service after the effective date, you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable international laws. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration. EU/UK users retain the right to bring complaints before the relevant national supervisory authority under GDPR.
